Beautiful and Easy Seashell Craft for Kids
This easy seashell craft for kids is great to do at any time and for children of any age.
Do you love seashells? We sure do! Looking for God’s stunning creation treasures is a favourite in our family, especially when it comes to seashells!
We created this lovely craft on a sunny Sabbath afternoon, after our walk on the beach.
If you live close to the beach, go out and collect some treasure. Then come back and create this beautiful and simple art piece.
- Blue A4 paper
- Blue tissue paper
- Stamps and Ink (optional)
Go out to the beach and collect your seashells. If you don’t have a sandpit at home, you might want to collect some sand as well.
Then simply collect all your materials, and you’re good to go!
Have your child cover the bottom half of the paper with glue. Then let them cover this with sand. This is super fun to do!
Add some glue on the edges of the shells. You may have to use liquid glue for this one as glue sticks most likely won’t work. Place the shells on the sand.
Once this is done, your child can add some more glue on a strip above the sand and decorate it with pieces of tissue paper. This, of course, is the ocean!
The last step is optional, but adds a nice finishing touch. We used some alphabet stamps and made the word ‘Creation‘ in blue ink at the top of the page. Alternatively, your child can also make some clouds with some cotton balls or white tissue paper.
Hope you enjoy making this beautiful seashell craft for kids!
